Company Formation in Uzbekistan
Asia-Pacific
Overview
Uzbekistan, located in Central Asia, is a state with an economy rooted in mining, services, agriculture, light and food industries, and energy. It offers a simplified company registration process, making it possible to establish a firm within a few days. While foreign participation is highly encouraged with certain privileges and guarantees, foreign investors should be aware of specific capital requirements and the need for a local presence for bank account opening.
Our Process
Step 1: Information Gathering & Name Approval
Provide the proposed company name (which must be unique), details of participants, the chosen sphere of activity, and select a bank. The name will be checked and reserved.
Step 2: Document Preparation & Legalization
Prepare all necessary documents, including the company constitution and director consents. Documents must be translated into Russian/Uzbek, notarized, and legalized (apostille or embassy legalization, unless exempt for CIS citizens).
Step 3: Company Registration
Submit the complete set of documents for state registration. The official incorporation typically takes 3 to 5 days after submission, benefiting from simplified procedures.
Step 4: Bank Account Opening
Facilitate the opening of a corporate bank account with a local financial institution. Please note that the personal presence of the managing director is generally required for signing account opening documents.
